Hairdressing, Beauty and Barbering are all on the agenda at Salon!
We spend the first session talking and getting to know what area the student want to work on and getting to know and building trust with them. Both male and female students engage with our Salon workshop. Some are really interested in the barbering and learning how to do different length haircuts while others focus on entirely on nail techniques.
What We Do
This workshop is allowing students to explore and learn a trade that can progress to further education to learn more and gain the further experience that they need to make it a career.
Students have said that they love coming into the workshop as it is entertaining and it allows them to learn the skills they want, it is very much a social workshop.
Mel chose to work at Innov8 Workshop as she very much enjoys the one-to-one mentoring approach that Innov8 uses. She wants to be part of a student’s journey and if possible, to help them get into a chosen profession or further education.
