Our Outreach sessions provide young people with the opportunity to go out into the community with their Mentor, try new activities and enjoy experiences they might not otherwise have.
The aim of Outreach is to encourage our young people to play positive roles in society while building their self-belief and confidence.
What We Do
The first session is about getting to know the student, building a relationship and exploring their goals for future sessions.
Outreach sessions allow our young people to actively engage in their local community alongside a trusted adult. We aim to encourage the social, educational and cultural development of the young people we support.
We build partnerships with local organisations that we can visit in and around Bury St Edmunds. These include: Ickworth Park, Bury Bowl, The Pony Club at Newmarket Racecourse, local fishing lakes, Phoenix Bike Park, Lackford Lakes, local coffee shops.
