learn the skills to deconstruct, repair and restore bikes

In innov8 Bikes students have the opportunity to learn basic mechanical skills. This extends to the repair, refurbishment and maintenance of a range of items, from bicycles to small engine machines like lawn mowers and strimmers.

We see the benefits of encouraging students to use their hands and think about how to complete a task.  We also work with radio control; successfully building cars, boats and planes.

What We Do

We can do anything that involves getting your hands dirty, from a complete strip-down and rebuild of bikes, renovating lawnmowers, or designing and printing a Blaster from StarWars on the 3D printer. Our students have the opportunity to design the finished project, including their own choice of paint schemes and modifications. With our fully-equipped workshop, we encourage our students to think big.

We want our students to succeed and we will do everything to help them get there. They have repaired and built bikes from scratch, including gears, brakes, suspension, wheel-construction, and even modifying frames.
